No. 25 Coyotes earn 5th straight win

Junior Brandi Harris gave CSUSB its only goal in a 1-0 win over Antelope Valley.
Box Score SAN BERNARDINO (Sept. 16, 2014) — For the first time in four seasons the Coyotes have opened a season 5-0 after Tuesday's 1-0 win over visiting Antelope Valley in women's soccer.

Coyotes junior Brandie Harris supplied all the scoring necessary and it came early in the contest. Teammates Peyton Nocciolo and Nadia Cordova controlled the ball and got it into Harris, who played in front of the box and knocked in the tally from five yards out in the 7th minute of play.

Despite the game being a one-goal game, CSUSB completely dominated on both ends of the field. They did not allow a shot the entire second half and both shots in the second half by the Pioneers were ably stopped by junior GK Monique Boe.

Offensively, CSUSB outshot its opponent 19-2 with five SOG.

CSUSB returns to Coyote Premier Field on Thursday when it faces Hope International. Kickoff is 12:30 p.m.
