Fiscalini Field

CSUSB began its intercollegiate baseball program in 1987. It shared Fiscalini Field with the Class A San Bernardino Spirit and San Bernardino Valley College from 1987 to 1995. The Spirit then moved to the new downtown San Bernardino Stadium (renamed San Manuel Stadium in 2012) in 1996, leaving CSUSB and SBVC as tenants of Fiscalini Field.

From 2002-2004, CSUSB played its home games at the 66ers stadium under a rental agreement with the team and the city of San Bernardino. CSUSB moved back to Fiscalini Field in 2005, and has been there ever since.

In 2023, Fiscalini Field saw it’s first-ever NCAA Tournament as the Yotes swept all three games they hosted in the west regional. The 2023 team would go on to finish in the national semifinals, marking the best season in program history.

The field, owned by the city of San Bernardino, was opened in 1936 as part of a spring training facility for the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Browns. The 3,600-seat facility was the home to the San Bernardino Spirit, a Class A affiliate for the Seattle Mariners (1988-1992) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (1995). In 1988, an 18-year-old Ken Griffey Jr. called Fiscalini Field his home for 58 games while playing for the Spirit. During his time in San Bernardino, Griffey batted .338 in 219 at-bats with 11 home runs and 32 stolen bases.

In 2019, the Yotes added CSUSB-branded windscreen to the scoreboard and inside the dugouts. In 2020, the outfield fence was replaced with a black CSUSB-branded windscreen.

The facility features batting cages, bullpens, clubhouse, restrooms, scoreboard, concessions, and a press box. It played a role in the motion picture "Stealing Home'' starring Mark Harmon and Jodie Foster.
