AZUSA, Calif. - Seven members of the California State University San Bernardino women's track & field team competed Saturday on the final day of the Franson Last Chance Meet, hosted by Azusa Pacific University.
Junior
Joace Warrior (Colton, Calif.) ran to a fifth place finish in the finals of the 100 meter hurdles, running a wind-aided 14.07 seconds.Â
In the 400, senior
Briana Miller (San Bernardino, Calif.) ran to a 26th place with a run of 59.65 seconds, while junior
Lacie Westervelt (Vancouver, Wash.) and senior
Aiyana Allen-Jefferson (Riverside, Calif.) finished in 14th and 15th respectively in the 400 hurdles at 1:11.10 and 1:14.34.
In the discus throw, senior
Miranda Owen (San Bernardino, Calif.) recorded a toss of 37.63 meters to close out her collegiate career, while junior
Rymiyah Pringle-Hamilton (Oakland, Calif.) ran into ninth in the CSUSB all-time top-10 list in the 200 at 24.91 seconds. Right behind Pringle-Hamilton was senior
Cierra Ellis (Eastvale, Calif.), who ran a time of 25.17 seconds.
Warrior will take one more crack at qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 100 hurdles on Sunday when she competes in Cal State Los Angeles' Very Last Chance Meet at 10:45 a.m.
