A quartet of Coyotes qualified for Saturday's finals in track events on Friday.
A pair of Yotes reached the finals in the 200 meter run, where junior
Coryssa Hope (Moreno Valley, Calif.) ran a 24.46 200, while classmate
Skye Harris (Los Angeles, Calif.) won her heat and ran a 24.74 seconds.
In the 800 meter run, senior
Kai Marroquin (Rosemead, Calif.) was the top Coyote finisher with a run of 2:14.24, flirting with her own CSUSB program record.
Rounding out the Coyote finals qualifiers was junior
Joace Warrior (Colton, Calif.). She placed second overall in the prelims, winning her heat with a run of 14.33 seconds to qualify for Saturday.
CSUSB will conclue the CCAA Championships on Saturday from San Marcos.
