MONMOUTH, Ore. - The California State University San Bernardino women's cross country team wrapped up its 2025 season on Saturday morning as the Coyotes competed in the NCAA West Regionals at Ash Creek Reserve. The Yotes finished 22nd out of 28 teams.
Senior
Kai Marroquin (Rosemead, Calif.) was the top Coyote finisher on Saturday, placing 34th overall with a 6k time of 21:23.6. The time is the second fastest 6k time in the history of Cal State San Bernardino women's cross country.
Behind Marroquin was junior
Yoselin Canseco (San Bernardino, Calif.), who ran a time of 22:44.3 for the second fastest time for the Yotes.
Junior
Hailey Lynk (Banning, Calif.) and
Lidia Barrios (Perris, Calif.) crossed the line consecutively for the Coyotes, separated by just 0.3 seconds. Lynk ran a time of 23:09.2, while Barrios ran a 43-second personal best at 23:09.5. The duo was just four seconds ahead of senior
Samantha Avila (Menifee, Calif.), who ran a time of 23:13.6.
Rounding out the fnishers for the Yotes were freshman
Lily Deaton (Menifee, Calif.) with a time of 23:54.0 and junior
Liana Brehm (Menifee, Calif.), who ran a time of 24:27.7.
