CSUSB Athletics Announces Spring 2025 Schedules

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The California State University San Bernardino Department of Athletics officially unveiled the 2025 schedules for its spring athletic teams on Tuesday afternoon.

The regular season will begin on January 31st for both the baseball and softball teams, while the women's track & field team will start on February 7 and the men's golf team on February 10.

Baseball opens the season at Azusa Pacific on January 31st, followed by a doubleheader at Fiscalini Field the next day, also against Azusa Pacific.

Following their non-conference slate, CSUSB will begin CCAA play with a series at Stanislaus State starting on February 21st and ending on February 23rd.

The Yotes will travel to Pomona for a series against archrival Cal Poly Pomona from March 7 through 9.

One of the toughest challenges of the season will come when the 2024 CCAA champion and West Regional runner-up Cal State Monterey Bay visits San Bernardino for a series beginning on March 28 and concluding on March 30.

The regular season ends with a home series against Cal State San Marcos beginning on May 1, and wrapping up with Senior Day on May 3.

Cal State Los Angeles will host the CCAA Baseball Tournament from May 7 through May 10.

Softball begins the season on January 31 at the Concordia Kickoff Classic, hosted by Concordia University Irvine, where they will face five different opponents over three days. Their home opener will be the following Saturday, with a doubleheader against Biola.

The week after their Biola matchup, CSUSB will compete in the Tournament of Champions, hosted by CCAA competitor Stanislaus State, from February 14 to 16. The schedule will mirror the Concordia Kickoff Classic, with five non-conference games over three days.

February 21 marks the beginning of CCAA play when 2024 West Region runner-up Cal State Dominguez Hills visits San Bernardino for a four-game series.

March will include a few key matchups, including when CSUSB travels to Cal State East Bay, the team that defeated them in the CCAA Tournament las season, for a series beginning on March 14.

CSUSB will face the 2024 regular-season champion Sonoma State at home the following weekend.

The CCAA Softball Championship begins on April 30 and ends on May 3, with Sonoma State serving as the host.

The women's track and field team will begin their season on February 7 at the Riverside City College Early Bird Invitational.

A key week for the team will be from April 16 to April 19, when they will compete in three events: the Brian Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific from April 16-18, the Golden Eagle Invitational at Cal State Los Angeles on April 17, and the Mt. SAC Relays at Mount San Antonio College from April 17-19.

Two weeks later, from May 1 through May 3, the Coyotes will compete in the CCAA Championships, hosted by Stanislaus State.

The Coyotes will be in contention to compete at the NCAA Division II Championships in Pueblo, Colo., hosted by Colorado State Pueblo from May 22 to May 24.

Men's golf will begin its spring season on February 10 at the Fujikura Invitational in Vista, Calif. The tournament will end a three-month hiatus, as the Yotes competed in four tournaments in October.

CSUSB will also host two tournaments: the Battle in the Desert, from February 24-26 at Rams Hill Golf Club in Borrego Springs, Calif., and the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional, scheduled for May 8 through May 10 at the Victoria Club in Riverside.

Before the regional, the team will compete in the CCAA Championships from April 21 to April 23 at the Sandpiper Golf Club in Goleta, Calif.
