Dom Dominguez has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of Feb. 9-15.
The senior catcher went 11-for-20 (.550) in a four-game series against Central Washington. He had a double, two home runs, 12 runs batted in, and scored seven runs. Dominguez recorded three multi-hit games in the series, including a 5-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in game 2. He singled in the go-ahead run for the Coyotes in the eighth as the team overcame a seven-run deficit (9-2) to win 13-11.
The Victorville native finished Saturday's doubleheader 8-for-8 with 10 RBI. He posted two RBI in the second, third, and fourth innings as CSUSB cruised to a 20-2 win. He finished 3-for-3 with a double, six RBI, a walk, and two runs scored. Dominguez capped off the weekend with a three-hit, two-RBI game on Sunday.
Dominguez is tied for the conference lead with five home runs and leads the CCAA with 22 RBI.
This is the first career CCAA Player of the Week award for Dominguez, and the first for CSUSB in 2026.
The Coyotes have postponed their scheduled game against La Verne and will be on a competition hiatus until it opens CCAA play on Friday, Mar. 6, at Cal Poly Pomona.
