CARMEL, Calif. - Cal State San Bernardino's women's cross country team wound up in seventh place at the 2022 California Collegiate Athletic Association cross country championships, contested over a 6K course at Palo Corona course in Carmel on Saturday. It was transfer
Alexis Wallace, the team's No. 1 runner all season, who paced the Coyotes with a 14th place finish, timed in 22:26.2 to earn All-CCAA honors.
Joanna Lopez wound up 36th in 23:28.3, followed by
Nicole Renteria in 38th spot in 23:40.3.
Kai Marroquin finished 53rd in 24:24.7 and
Miranda Avila was 58th in 24:36.3 to round out the top five finishers.
Stanislaus State won the team title for the second year in a row with 39 points with four runners in the top 10, led by the CCAA's No. 1 runner, Kaela Dishon, who won in 20:54.4. CSUSB posted 187 points.
