Junior forward Krista Feer scored two goals and assisted on the third Saturday as Cal State San Bernardino opened its 2007 women's soccer season with a 3-0 shutout of San Diego Christian College.
    The Coyotes defense allowed nary a shot on goal the entire 90-minute match.
    After a scoreless first half, Feer controlled the ball in the middle of the field and knocked in her first goal just 17 seconds into the second period. In the 61st minute, she led freshman Katie Liby with a nice pass and Liby one-timed it into the goal for a 2-0 advantage.
    Feer closed out the scoring, converting a through ball from freshman Alyssa Marin in the 70th minute.
    Samantha Beveridge, the Hawks' goalkeeper, saved three other shots on goal in the match as the Hawks slipped to 0-1.
