BOULDER CITY, Nev. - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team opened the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships by posting a team score of five strokes over par Monday at Boulder Creek Golf Club.

Sophomore Tyler Price (Yucaipa, Calif.) turned in CSUSB's low round of the day, shooting a three-under 69. He bogeyed only two holes, while making five birdies.

Junior Marco Lin (Taoyuan, Taiwan) had an under-par round as well for the Yotes, shooting a one-under 71. He matched Price for the team-high with five birdies.

Junior Kamron Hopson (Redlands, Calif.) birdied two of his first five holes on his way to a three-over 75 on the day, while sophomore Aaron Parayno (Fresno, Calif.) made back-to-back birdies on holes five and six en route to a six-over 78.

Cal State San Bernardino will be back on the course for round two on Tuesday afternoon from Boulder City. The first Coyote tee time is slated for 1 p.m.
