ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Four members of the California State University San Bernardino men's golf team earned all-conference honors from the California Collegiate Athletic Association Tuesday afternoon.
Junior
Kamron Hopson (Redlands, Calif.) and sophomore
Tyler Price (Yucaipa, Calif.) earned All-Conference honors.
Hopson, currently ranked 74th in Clippd's Division II rankings, recorded 10 top-20 finishes this season. His highlights include a victory at the Coyote Classic in March and a runner-up finish at the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational earlier this month.
Price tallied seven top-20 finishes, including a fifth-place showing at the Coyote Classic and a tie for seventh at the CCAA Championships.
Junior
Marco Lin (Taoyuan, Taiwan) and sophomore
Aaron Parayno (Fresno, Calif.) received honorable mention recognition, with Lin also being named CCAA Newcomer of the Year.
Lin notched four top-10 finishes, highlighted by a pair of fourth-place results, and tied for seventh at the CCAA Championships. Parayno posted five top-20 finishes and three top-three results, including runner-up finishes at both the CCAA Championships and the National Preview in October.
CSUSB will compete in the West/South Central Regional at the Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton from May 7-9.
