BOULDER CITY, Nev. - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team finished the Las Vegas Desert Classic in a tie for 15th as they competed in the final round on Tuesday morning at Boulder Creek Golf Course.
Senior
John Kim (Palm Desert, Calif.) had a huge round for the Coyotes to finish off the tournament, going five-under par for the round to place ninth overall at the tourney. He made only one bogey on the day and eagled the par-5 fifth to come in with a 67.
Trent Fitzgerald (Santee, Calif.) had a strong final round for the Yotes as well, making four birdies on the back nine to come in with an even-par 72.
Rounding out the scorers for the Coyotes were freshman
Aaron Parayno (Fresno, Calif.) and junior
Chris Wardrup (La Quinta, Calif.), who turned in identical scores of one-over 73.
The Coyotes will return to action on March 17, startng play at the Oak Tree Invitational, hosted by Oklahoma Christian University.
