BOULDER CITY, Nev. - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team completed play at the NCAA National Preview on Tuesday as they played round three at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Yotes finished the tournament at -20 overall, good for a tie for fifth place in the 17-team field.
Sophomore
Aaron Parayno (Fresno, Calif.) turned in his third under-par round of the tournament to finish in a tie for second overall. Parayno shot a four-under 68 on Tuesday and made six birdies to finish the tournament at 11-under.
Junior
Kamron Hopson (Redlands, Calif.) also shot a 68 on Tuesday to wrap up his tournament. He finished in style with an eagle on the par-5 fifth, his final hole of the day.
Sophomore
Tyler Price (Yucaipa, Calif.) began his day with a double bogey on the par-5 fifth, but recovered to shoot a three-under 69. He finished the tournament at 8-under overall, good for eighth place.
Rounding out the Coyote scorers on Tuesday was redshirt freshman
Steven Rivera (Fresno, Calif.), who used five birdies to shoot a one-over 73.
Next up, the Coyotes will play in the Otter Invitational, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay at Bayonet Golf Course, next Monday and Tuesday.
