WAIMALU, Hawaii - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team wrapped up its fall slate on Saturday, playing in round three of the HPU Sharks Shootout, hosted by Hawaii Pacific at Pearl at Kalauao.
With a three-round score of +43, the Coyotes placed second in the seven-team field.
Redshirt freshman
Steven Rivera (Fresno, Calif.) led the Coyotes with an even-par 72 on Saturday. He finished the tournament tied for fourth overall.Â
For the tournament, Rivera was one shot behind sophomore
Aaron Parayno (Fresno, Calif.), who shot a 75 on Saturday to finish the tourney at +8. He finished in third overall, seven shots off the pace.
Junior
Kamron Hopson (Redlands, Calif.) had the Coyotes second lowest round on the day, shooting a one-over 73, while sophomore
Tyler Price (Yucaipa, Calif.) was one shot back at 74.
The Yotes will return to action in February when they begin their spring championship season.
