SEASIDE, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team wrapped up play Tuesday at the Otter Invitational, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay at Bayonet Golf Course.
The Coyotes finished in eighth place overall with a final round score of five over par. The score was the fifth best of any team in round three.
Junior
Kamron Hopson (Redlands, Calif.) was dialed in in round three, shooting a team-best four-under 68 on Tuesday. He poured in seven birdies on the day, including four in a row from holes eight through 11.
Sophomore
Aaron Parayno (Fresno, Calif.) was even par in the final round. He made four birdies on the day, including on both of the back nine's par fives.
Sophomore
Tyler Price (Yucaipa, Calif.) and redshirt freshman
Steven Rivera (Fresno, Calif.) rounded out the Coyote scorers on Tuesday. Price shot a three-over 75 with four birdies, while Rivera made three birdies en route to a six-over 78.
Next up for the Coyotes, they will play the first of two tournaments in Hawaii, starting with wht Dennis Rose Intercollegiate, hosted by Hawaii Hilo on Monday October 20.
