LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team wrapped up play at the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional with a 14th place finish on Saturday at University Golf Course.
Sophomore
Chris Wardrup (La Quinta, Calif.) had yet another strong round for the Coyotes, turning in an even-par 71 to finish the tournament tied for third overall at -6.
Wardrup qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual by winning the first playoff hole. He will compete for a national title at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Winter Garden, Fla. starting on May 21.
CSUSB's low round of the day was shot by senior
Cole Obrigewitsch (Deer Valley, Saskatchewan), who carded a one-under 70 on the day. He matched Wardrup's team-low of five birdies in the final round.
Junior
John Kim (Palm Desert, Calif.) was CSUSB's third-leading finisher with a three-over 74, while
Andres Navarro (Montebello, Calif.) finished fourth for the Yotes with a 76.
