SANTA ROSA, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team concluded the CCAA Championships with a seventh place finish Wednesday afternoon at the Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club.
The Coyotes had a team score of two-over 290 on Wednesday and four-under 860 for the tournament.
Three Yotes finished with an even-par 72 on Wednesday. Sophomore Chris Wardrup (La Quinta, Calif.) used an eagle on the par-five second to shoot his 72, while junior John Kim (Palm Desert, Calif.) and senior Cole Obrigewitsch (Deer Valley, Saskatchewan) each notched three birdies on their way to 72s.
Rounding out CSUSB's scorers was senior Andres Navarro (Montebello, Calif.), who turned in a two-over 74. He birdied holes five, eight, and 18.
The Yotes will return to the course on Wednesday, May 8 at the NCAA Regional, in Las Cruces, N.M.
