AZUSA, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino women's track & field team completed the Bryan Clay Invitational on Saturday at Azusa Pacific University.
Graduate student
Alexis Wallace (Orangevale, Calif.) was the only Coyote to compete on Friday. In the 10,000 meter run, she ran a time of 37:18.86, a personal best by over a minute. It was the second fastest 10,000 meter time in CSUSB program history.
Senior
Kyndahl Carter (Los Angeles, Calif.) notched yet another NCAA Division II provisional mark on Saturday in the 100 meter hurdles. She posted a time of 14.01 seconds.
In the 400 meter run, the top Coyote finisher was junior
Alexis White (San Bernardino, Calif.). She posted a time of 55.58 seconds, and was followed by classmateÂ
Na'kel Pennix (Redlands, Calif.), who had a time of 58.99 seconds.
Graduate student
Alexandra Ackerman (Lake Elsinore, Calif.) was CSUSB's top finisher in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. In the 100, she notched a time of 12.24 seconds, while she ran a 24.73 in the 200.
To round out the day, Pennix, Ackerman, White, and freshman
Coryssa Hope (Riverside, Calif.) teamed up for the 4x400 meter relay. The quartet ran a season-best time of 3:49.74, the second fastest time in CSUSB history.
The Coyotes will return to action on Wednesday with the first of four days at the Mt. SAC Relays.
