AMARILLO, Texas - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team wrapped up play Tuesday morning as the Coyotes competed in the final round of the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational, hosted by West Texas A&M.
Graduate student
Jetty Sivongsay (Fullerton, Calif.) posted CSUSB's low round on the day, shooting a two-under 68. He carded five birdies, coming on holes 7, 9, 10, 16, and 18.
CSUSB's two All-West Region selections from a season ago, junior
Chris Wardrup (La Quinta, Calif.) and senior
John Kim (Palm Desert, Calif.) each turned in identical scores of one-under 69. Wardrup finished the tournament as the top-placing Coyote with a 54-hole score of -4.
Freshman
Aaron Parayno (Fresno, Calif.) shot even par on Tuesday, while classmate
Tyler Price (Yucaipa, Calif.) turned in a two-over 72 to round out CSUSB's scorers.
The Yotes will be back in action on Monday, heading to Cal State Monterey Bay for the two-day Otter Invitational at Bayonet Golf Course.
