CHICO, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Chico State on Sunday afternoon in CCAA action at University Soccer Stadium.
With the defeat, Cal State San Bernardino falls to 4-5-5 on the season and 3-3-2 in CCAA play.
Avery Pieri scored both Chico goals, coming in the 30th and 82nd minutes, which would prove to be the only offense the host Wildcats would need.Â
Chico State held a 15-9 edge in total shots in the victory, however the teams were dead even at 5-5 in shots on goal.

Leila Peregrina (Chino, Calif.) turned aside a pair of shots in the defeat.
Next up for the Coyotes, they will return to action on Friday with a home contest against Sonoma State on Friday. Kickoff from Premier Field is slated for 3 p.m.
