CARSON, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against Cal State Dominguez Hills in CCAA action on Thursday night at Dignity Health Sports Park, home of Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy.
With the draw, CSUSB moves to 3-3-5 overall on the season, and 2-1-2 in conference play.
CSUSB broke the ice in the 41st minute when junior Emma Frausto (Ontario, Calif.) converted a penalty kick for her second goal of the season.
Dominguez Hills would respond with a penalty kick goal of their own in the 71st minute, giving the game its final score of 1-1.
For the match, CSUSB outshot the Toros 8-5 including a 5-4 advantage on shots on goal. Other Coyotes who had a shot on goal included Bella Cervantes (Anaheim, Calif.), Emilee Perez (Corona, Calif.), and Reagan Parkhill (San Dimas, Calif.).
Next up for the Coyotes, they are back at Premier Field on Sunday, October 20 against Cal State Los Angeles. Kickoff is slated for 2:00 p.m.
