SEASIDE, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino men's golf team wrapped up play Tuesday in the final round of the Otter Invitational at Bayonet Golf Course.
Junior
Chris Wardrup (La Quinta, Calif.) turned in CSUSB's low round in the final round, shooting a one-under 71 with three back-nine birdies on 12, 14, and 18.
Senior
John Kim (Palm Desert, Calif.) made four birdies in round three to shoot a one-over 73. He made birdies on the par-3 fourth and 14th holes, as well as the par-5 10th and par-4 13th.
Freshman
Aaron Parayno (Fresno, Calif.) and graduate student
Jetty Sivongsay (Fullerton, Calif.) each posted scores of three-over 75. Parayno made a team-high five birdies on Tuesday, but was plagued by a trio of back-nine double bogeys. Sivongsay made four birdies, including back-to-back birds on holes 7 and 8.
Freshman
Tyler Price (Yucaipa, Calif.) finished the tournament with a score of 79, while junior
Trent Fitzgerald (Santee, Calif.) turned in a two-over 74 while playing as an individual to round out CSUSB's scores.
Next up for the Coyotes, they will travel to Hawaii for the Dennis Rose Collegiate, hosted by Hawaii-Hilo at Waikoloa Beach Golf Resort on Monday, October 21.Â
