ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The CSUSB men's golf team finished 8^th in the NCAA Division II West Regional Preview this week at the Foxtail Golf Club in Rohnert Park, CA. On the 72-par course, the Yotes shot +16 as a team, scoring 288, 300, and 292 in the respective three rounds. After their performance, they were ranked No. 28 in all of NCAA Division II by GolfStat.com.
 
Mark Williams once again led the Yotes, shooting -1 to tie for 9^th place on the individual leaderboard. Williams shot one under in both the first two rounds on Monday, then finished one over in the final round on Tuesday. The senior finished top ten in Par 4 Scoring (Even), Par 5 Scoring (-6), and in total birdies with 13.
 
John Kim finished in second place for CSUSB at +7. After an impressive first round where Kim finished two under par, he struggled to find the same success in the second round finishing +8. He then rebounded nicely in the third round to finish just one over par. Cole Obrigewitsch and Jetty Sivongsay tied for third on the team, each shooting +9 in the tournament.

The Yotes will compete in the CCAA Conference Championship next Monday, April 17^th, at Victoria Club in Riverside, CA hosted by Cal State San Marcos. The first round will begin at 8:00 AM.
