TURLOCK, Calif. – The CSUSB men's golf team finished fifth in the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational on Tuesday. The No. 25 ranked Yotes collectively shot +22 on a difficult 72-par course, while every team in the field finished at least seven over par.

Mark Williams had the best individual performance for CSUSB in Turlock, finishing tied for 17
th while shooting +6 over the three rounds. He was the only Yote to shoot under par, finishing at -2 in the second round. Williams also collected nine birdies while shooting -5 on Par 5 holes.

Bryan Saw,
John Kim, and
Jacob Calderon all finished tied for 25
th out of the 96 golfers, shooting 224 (+8) over the two days. Saw was an impressive +1 on Par 3 scoring, ranking third out of the entire field. Calderon was just +3 on Par 4 holes, and reached par 37 times – the second most in the tournament. Kim also finished fourth in birdies with 10. Â
