SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The CSUSB women's basketball team defeated Antelope Valley by a score 66-60 on Tuesday night, winning their third straight game to improve to 4-1 on the season.
Tatianna Russell led the charge for the Yotes, recording 16 points in the game – the second most of her career. Russell also collected eight rebounds, a block, and a steal against the Pioneers. Her highest single-game point total came on
November 9th, 2019, when she scored 25 points against Point Loma.

CCAA Player of the Week
Destiny Jackson nearly collected her second double-double in as many games, this time recording eight points with 10 rebounds. Jackson currently ranks top five in the CCAA in field goals made, free throws made, points scored, and rebounds.

Mia Dufresne and
Nikki Mayoral each scored 11 points in the win, with Dufresne gathering five rebounds.
Gabby Stoll also racked up 10 rebounds, her second consecutive game reaching that mark.

The Yotes did not trail the entire game. Despite the final score being within six points, the Pioneers were never able to take the lead. The largest gap came midway through the third quarter, when the Yotes were up by 17 points. The Pioneers battled back in the fourth quarter, but ultimately fell short.
