AZUSA – The CSUSB Coyotes fell in a tight one on Saturday afternoon, 81-86, to Point Loma on the campus of Azusa Pacific in overtime.
 
The Sea Lions led by two late, but Tatianna Russell, who led with a team-high 25 points, hit a jumper with six seconds left to send it to OT.  The Yotes then led by three with 53 seconds left in overtime on a three from Ashlynn Sharp, but PLU finished with a surge to win.
 
Sharp finished with 19 points and Nina Wallace added 11.  Russel led the team with eight rebound and four blocks.  CSUSB scored well, shooting 42 percent from the field and 46 percent from three.  The Sea Lions made up the difference by getting to the line 33 times and making 25.
 
The Coyotes will travel to Biola next Saturday for a 3:30 pm game.  Live links are on CSUSBathletics.com.
