POMONA, Calif. – The CSUSB women's basketball team lost to Cal Poly Pomona on Saturday afternoon, falling to 4-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
The Broncos shut down the Yotes in the first quarter, outscoring CSUSB a surprising 26-2. The Yotes rebounded nicely after that quarter, outscoring CPP 18-16 in the second. This put the score at 42-20 headed into half.
The Yotes battled during the second half, but it wasn't enough to make up the deficit created in the first quarter - ultimately falling by a final score of 67-38 for their second loss of the season.
Samantha Henley and
Olivia Lee each led the offense with eight points in the game. Henley hit two of the Yotes' three treys, while Lee was second on the team in rebounding with six.
Deja Bleu led the team in rebounds with seven, while also collecting five points.

st, at 5:30 PM. They will then travel to Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday, December 3
