This event was loaded with talent from top NCAA Division I, to unattached, veteran athletes, to Division II and Division III athletes from all over the country.
"The Bryan Clay Invitational is one of the biggest and most competitive meets of our season," head coach Lauren Reimer-Podgaysky said. "This year it hosted over 4,800 athletes. Our team did well in preparation for the CCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This has been a great season so far and we look forward to performing as a team at our championship meet."
The Yotes enter with several groups who have posted Top-10 CCAA marks looking for possible CCAA Championships. Kaylie Balvaneda sits eighth in the 5000 meters, Jordan Munford is second in the 100 meters, Arianna Fuentes is third in the 3000 meter steeplechase, and the 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter relay teams, along with Price in the high jump, sit Top-10 in the CCAA.
The action gets underway on Thursday from La Jolla.
