"It is early in the season, and we are building and getting things going," head coach Lauren Reimer-Podgaysky said. "Every week is bringing us valuable competitive experience that's allowing us growth towards the next meet. We are learning more about our racing strategies, implementing technical components we've been focusing on during practice, and applying it when competing. This team has opened up this season strong and we will continue to develop each week."
So far the Yotes have qualified 11 individuals for the CCAA Championships. Up next for the Yotes is the Ben Brown at CSU Fullerton on Friday and Saturday. There will be more distance opportunities coming up in the next couple meets.
