TURLOCK (April 15, 2017) — Damion Edmonds connected on a two-run single and
Dominic Campeau added an RBI-double in the Coyotes' 4-3 loss at Stanislaus State in CCAA baseball Saturday afternoon.
The Coyotes (10-28, 8-19 overall) are at Concordia-Irvine on Tuesday and play at CCAA-leading Chico State beginning Saturday.
Campeau came through with his RBI in the first, driving in
Jordan Simon, who was issued a one-out walk.
Stanislaus State scored twice in the first off Coyotes' starter
Don Sullivan and two more times in the third.
Edmonds drew the Coyotes to within a run of the lead in the fourth after
Tyler Robles and Kristian De La Torre reached base on a single and walk, respectively.
But CSUSB went hitless until
Dillon Fahr's two-out single in the ninth. Sullivan gave up only one more hit — a single in the fourth — and reliever
Matthew Moriarty threw no-hit ball in his three innings.
The Warriors are now 24-14, 14-13.
