2017: Appeared in 16 games with six starts … Record of 1-6 with 5.60 ERA in 45 innings … Struck out 38 and walked 29 batters … Threw one complete game — a 5-3 loss at Cal State Dominguez Hills. 

At New Mexico State: As a sophomore (2015), went 0-2 in six appearances … As a freshman (2014), pitched in 12 games for the Aggies … Finished season with a 6.35 ERA and nine strikeouts in 11.1 IP. Moriarty’s ERA improved on the road to 3.18 … Made three appearances at first base and tallied three assists.     

At Capistrano Valley HS: Pitched for the Cougars all four seasons … Earned South Coast League Pitcher of the Week recognition as a senior … Finished his junior year with a 3.41 ERA and 12 strikeouts and his senior year with a 3.70 ERA and 34 strikeouts.
