SAN DIEGO (March 26, 2017) — Sinclair Watson took home a pair of first-place finishes Saturday at the Point Loma Invitational.
Watson won the 100 meters in 12.20 seconds, and earned the 200 title in 24.99.
The Coyotes dominated the 3000 steeplechase with a 2-3-4 finish, led by
Cynthia Rivera,
Phillie Bacon and
Shanna Shernaman, respectively.
Taylor Matthews was fourth in the 100,
Casie Johnson fourth in the 400 hurdles and
Simone Everett was third in the hammer throw.
The 4 x 100 relay team of
Lisette Fierros, Johnson, Matthews and Watson was fourth.
Stacey Vanderpool was fifth in the pole vault, and
Michelle Pineda Palacios was sixth in the 800 and Everett sixth in the shot put.
