Photo GallerySAN BERNARDINO (Sept. 8, 2015) — A late first-half goal was the difference maker in CSUSB's 1-0 loss to Dixie State in nonconference women's soccer Tuesday afternoon at Coyote Premier Field.
CSUSB takes its 1-1-1 overall record into this weekend's games in Michigan, when the Coyotes face defending NCAA champion Grand Valley State on Friday and Ferris State on Sunday.
Dixie State secured the game's only goal in the 40

CSUSB had three shots on goal — one each from
Alyssa Campa,
Gabby Evaristo and
Melanie Aguayo — all in the second half.
DSU outshot the Coyotes 11-9, while the Coyotes had the game's only corner kicks, both in the first half. Whyte had two saves and her counterpart, Danica Nusink had three.
Dixie State improved to 2-0.
