Box Score LA JOLLA (April 21, 2015) -- Grant Buchanan and Trevor Williams each had two hits in the Coyotes' 18-1 loss to No. 24 UC San Diego in CCAA baseball Monday night.

The Coyotes (9-32, 7-25 CCAA) open their four-game series with Cal State L.A. in Los Angeles on Thursday night. The weekend doubleheader will be at Fiscalini Field on Friday, beginning at 2 p.m.

UCSD scored in every inning except the second and finished with 23 hits.

The Coyotes got on the board in the ninth. Williams hit a one-out double to left center and eventually scored on an error after Buchanann singled to right center.

Aaron Owen and Warren Fishback had a single and double, respectively, for CSUSB's six hits.
