TURLOCK -- Cal State San Bernardino went 2-1 on Saturday at the Tournament of Champions, sponsored by Mizuno, at Cal State Stanislaus.
The Coyotes will play at 9:30 a.m. Sunday against a to-be-determined opponent.

Courtney Wilhelms and
Felicia Cervantes each had run-scoring singles after lead-off hitter
Britney Butler scored on a walk without advancement from any teammate. She stole second, reached third on a throwing error and scored on a wild pitch.
In the second, the Coyotes added two runs on three hits.
Jacquelyn Holtzclaw drove in
Alex Mitchell on a triple, and then scored on a passed ball.
Cervantes and Holtzclaw each had two hits as the Coyotes had 10 on the game.
Cassidy Lee struck out seven in 4 2/3 innings for the win.

Butler homered to lead-off the seventh, but the Coyotes trailed 8-3 after four innings against the defending NCAA champions.
Butler and Wilhelms each had two hits for the Coyotes and
Jamie Roland and Mitchell each had two RBI.
Brianne Godfredson took the loss. She threw 2 2/3 innings and gave up five runs – all earned.

Stefanie Pace connected on a double that drove in
Priscilla Curiel in the fourth inning as the Coyotes went on to defeat the Wolves.
CSUSB, now 25-14, grabbed a 1-0 in the first when Butler scored a throwing error from the catcher.
Curiel was the only Coyote who had more than one hit.
Lee threw four innings of relief and earned the win. She had five strikeouts without a walk and gave up just two hits.
