Biography

2011: Appeared in 47 games with 39 starts at DP... Hit .246 with 29 hits in 118 at-bats... Had four extra-base hits -- all doubles... Had a 6-game hitting streak in early March... Opened season hitting .121 before hitting streak and improved 83 points over that stretch... Had 11 RBI.

2010: Earned second-team All-CCAA honors at DP... Appeared in 53 games with 52 starts... Hit .317 with 3 HRs, 20 RBI and 27 runs scored... Finished 6th in doubles (12), 5th in sacrifice bunts (13) and 2nd in stolen bases (18) in the CCAA.

2009: Appeared in 48 games with 36 starts, primarily as a designated hitter... Hit .274 with 13 RBI.
    
At Weston Ranch HS: Played four years of softball at Stockton-area high school... Received captain's award and was a 2-time defensive MVP and best all-around player... A 2-time all-league honoree.
    
Personal: Daughter of Louie and Gina Cervantes...  Biology major, who would like to become a U.S. Air Force officer and become a pharmacist...  A city of Stockton volunteer...  Hobbies are music, movies, basketball and football... Says her favorite sports momenet was Super Bowl XXXIV St. Louis Rams' victory...
