GREENWOOD, Ind. - Five members of the California State University San Bernardino softball program earned recognition Tuesday on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Outstanding student-athletes are nominated for Academic All-District recognition by their athletic communications directors and must have a minimum 3.50 grade point average while meeting high athletic standards.

The following CSUSB softball student-athletes earned CSC Academic All-District selections.

Danyelle Castillo, a redshirt sophomore criminal justice major from Atwater, California.
Katie Griego, a junior kinesiology major from Rialto, California.
Ashley Legler, a senior public health major from San Diego, California.
Sarah Moite, a senior liberal studies major from Fresno, California.
Isabella Venegas, a junior administration major from Upland, California.
