SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – California State University San Bernardino softball student-athlete Ashley Legler (San Diego, Calif.) was named First Team All-West Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Friday morning. 

Legler finished the season 12-12 in the circle with a 4.74 ERA across 143.1 innings pitched. She also led the team offensively with a .340 batting average, adding five home runs and 28 RBI.

She was named Co-Most Valuable Player and Most Valuable Pitcher at the CUI Kickoff Classic way back in February. A few weeks later, she became the first player in the history of the CCAA to earn conference Player and Pitcher of the Week separately in the same season.

Earlier this month, she also earned First Team All-CCAA honors.
