LA JOLLA -- UC San Diego defeated Cal State San Bernardino, 3-2, Tuesday afternoon, enabling the Tritons to complete a sweep of their CCAA conference four-game series that began in mid-February.
The game was a makeup of a rained-out contest scheduled for the Tritons field.
The victory improved UCSD to 12-4 in the CCAA and in third place behind Sonoma State and Cal State Stanislaus. The Tritons are 21-6 overall. CSUSB is now 4-12 in the conference and 13-16 overall.
