Biography

    2008: Haas was an impact player for the Coyotes, earning all-West Region second-team and all-CCAA conference first-team honors. He was the team's leading hitter at .373. He had a team-high 20 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 32 runs batted in and stole seven bases. He handled 113 chances in centerfield with just three errors for a .973 fielding percentage. He was the Coyote Athletics co-Male Athlete of the Year.
    BEFORE CAL STATE: Haas played two seasons of baseball at Victor Valley College, earning first-team all-Foothill Conference honors before going on a Mormon mission.
    HIGH SCHOOL: He is a 2002 graduate of Sultana HS in Hesperia where he played four years of baseball, earning first-team all-league honors.
    PERSONAL: An marketing major, Haas hopes to continue playing baseball "as long as someone will let me" then work for a sports team or do something where "I can be outside a lot.". His hobby is fishing and target shooting. His parents are John and Elaine Haas. He has six siblings.
    MOST MEMORABLE SPORTS MOMENT --  The home runs I have hit when my whole family is there supporting me.
    WHY I CHOSE CSUSB --  I wanted to play close to home and a friend recommended the school.
