MODESTO, Calif. — Former California State University San Bernardino pitcher Devyn Hernandez has signed a professional contract with the Modesto Roadsters of the Pioneer Baseball League. 

The Pioneer League is one of four independent leagues that serve as partner leagues with Major League Baseball, alongside the American Association of Professional Baseball, the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, and the Frontier League. The league consists of 12 teams located throughout the Western United States. ,

Hernandez had two strong seasons at CSUSB, earning All-CCAA Honorable Mention recognition and being named the CCAA Tournament MVP this season. He finished his Coyotes career with a 9-5 record and a 4.88 ERA across 121.2 innings pitched.
