SAN MARCOS, Calif. - #9 California State University San Bernardino men's soccer breezed past Cal State San Marcos 4-1 in a CCAA contest Sunday afternoon at The Cage.
With the victory, the Coyotes improve to 5-0-2 overall on the season to stay unbeaten.

Rafa Fonseca broke the ice for the Coyotes in just the 11th minute, redirecting home a cross from sophomore
Nevin Rueegger to put the visitors ahead 1-0.
San Marcos equalized in the 20th minute, but a 43rd minute flurry for the Yotes broke the game open. Junior Alex Soukup gave CSUSB the lead on a penalty kick to break the deadlock, and 35 seconds later,
Diego Lopez tapped in a
Titus Alviso cross for a 3-1 lead.
CSUSB extended their lead to three just under nine minutes into the second half, as Soukup converted his second PK of the game to make it 4-1.
The one-sided result on the scoreboard was also reflected in the shot and corner kick counts. CSUSB held a 15-4 edge in shots, and 8-2 edge in corners.

Donovan Palomares stopped both shots he faced for the clean sheet.
Next up, CSUSB will begin a homestand by hosting Cal Poly Humboldt on Friday at noon at Premier Field.
