ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Cal State San Bernardino's
Kamron Hopson has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Men's Golfer of the Week.

Hopson shot a 16-under 200 at the Coyote Classic to lead Cal State San Bernardino to a tournament win by 19 strokes (843). Hopson posted a 69 (-3) in the opening round before closing the tournament with a round at 7-under 65 and another at 6-under 66. The last two rounds were the best in the tournament.Â

The junior from Redlands, Calif. led the 80-player field in par-3 and par-4 scoring, shooting 4-under on both. He led the tournament with 18 birdies, three more than second place. Hopson was also fourth in par-5 scoring (-8).

Hopson was one of three Coyotes to finish in the top 5 on the leaderboard. He was joined by
Marco Lin, who placed fourth (-5), and
Tyler Price, who finished fifth (-3).Â

Cal State San Bernardino won the tournament with a team score of 843 (-21) on the Oak Valley Golf Course in Beaumont, Calif. It was CSUSB's first win of the year.Â

This is Hopson's first career CCAA Golfer of the Week award, and it's the second for CSUSB in 2025-26.Â

The next tournament on the schedule for CSUSB is the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Ariz., on April 6 and 7.
