SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - A pair of Cal State San Bernardino baseball student-athletes were named to the All-West Region teams by National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Coming off First Team All-Conference selections in the CCAA, graduate student
Daryl Ruiz (Corona, Calif.) was named First Team All-West, while senior
Jason Shedlock (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) was named Second Team All-Region.Â
Ruiz had a career year in 2025, which included a .402 batting average, a .515 on-base percentage, a .765 slugging percentage with 16 home runs, 73 runs batted in, and 57 runs scored en route to breaking numerous school records.
Shedlock led the team in batting average, hitting .416 with a team-high 79 hits and 58 runs scored, five home runs, and 33 runs batted in.Â
