SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The California State Univeristy San Bernardino men's soccer team played Cal State East Bay to a 0-0 tie Friday afternoon in a CCAA contest at Premier Field.

With the draw, the Coyotes move to 7-2-5 overall on the season and 2-1-3 in conference play.

The Coyotes outshot the Pioneers 6-3 in the opening 45 minutes, but neither team found the back of the net. The only two shots on target were taken by the Yotes, but both were turned aside.

Shots were level at nine apiece in half number two, but once again the goalkeepers held strong to preserve the scoreless draw. Donovan Palomares (Boyle Heights, Calif.) stopped all three shots he faced, all in the second half, to earn the shutout.

Next up for the Coyotes, they will host their Senior Day against Cal State San Marcos on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at Premier Field.
