KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two members of the California State University San Bernardino men's soccer team earned All-West Region Tuesday from the United Soccer Coaches. Senior
Brian Castillo (North Hollywood, Calif.) earned a spot on the First Team, while classmate
Hunter George (Mission Viejo, Calif.) was named to the Second Team.
Castillo's All-Region recognition comes on the heels of being named to the D2CCA Third Team All-America. Also a D2CCA All-West Region First Teamer, Castillo ranked third in the CCAA in goals (11) and points (22), and earned CCAA Offensive Player of the Week honors for the week ending October 6. Castillo notched two game-winning goals, and was named the CCAA Midfielder of the Year.
 George was previously named the CCAA Newcomer of the Year and to the CCAA All-Conference Second Team. He notched three goals and two assists for eight points, and was a one-time CCAA Offensive Player of the Week.Â
