RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The California State University San Bernardino ran its final regular season race Saturday morning at the 6k Ag Ops Course on the campus of UC Riverside.
Leading the way for CSUSB was freshman
Gabriella Romero (Highland, Calif.), who placed 47th in the 261-runner field at 22:14.4.
In second for the Coyotes was junior
Kai Marroquin (Rosemead, Calif.). Marroquin ran a time of 22:51.6 to place 86th overall. In third was sophomore
Hailey Lynk (Banning, Calif.), placing 133rd overall at 23:27.5.
CSUSB's fourth finisher on Saturday morning was junior
Samantha Avila (Menifee, Calif.), who set a 6k personal best with a run of 23:35.4. The fifth Coyote finisher, freshman
Angela Torres (Rialto, Calif.), set a PR of her own with a time of 23:56.3.
Rounding out CSUSB's scorers were sixth place finisher
Jordan Dennert (San Bernardino, Calif.) and seventh place finisher
Diana Vera (Colton, Calif.), with times of 24:02.6 and 24:26.1 respectively.
Next up for the Coyotes, they will travel to Fresno on Friday for the CCAA Championships. The 6k championship race is slated for 10 a.m. from Woodward Park.
