ROHNERT PARK, CA – The Yotes continue their unbeaten streak with a 3-0 sweep over the Urban Knights of Academy of Art on Thursday afternoon to open up the Seawolves Volleyball Classic.
Across all three sets, the Yotes didn't allow the Urban Knights to break the 20-point threshold. Once the Yotes took the 9-8 lead in the first set on a kill by
Jenna Patton, they didn't look back. They hit .172 as a team and only recorded four attack errors.
The Yotes shined in set two, increasing their hitting percentage to .378 and minimizing their errors and recording their highest hitting percentage of the afternoon. They topped off the final points of the third set with a kill from
Trinity Sheridan, her 9
th of the afternoon, and two attacking errors by the Urban Knights.
Sheridan, Patton and
Kacie Pedersen led the Yotes on the offensive end of the game. Pedersen also had four aces and 11 digs, followed closely by
Shira Lahav with 10.
Marlee Nunley continues to build her stat line in her senior season, putting up 17 assists.
