HAYWARD, Calif. – The Yotes were unable to hold the lead in the final seconds of the game against the Pioneers of Cal State East Bay. Prior to this weekend's game, the Yotes held a 13-11 overall record against Cal State East Bay, their last win coming in a 62-59 road game in December of 2019. Despite outscoring the Pioneers in the first half, the Pioneers sank a jumper with one second remaining on the clock which cemented a final score of 58-59 for a Pioneer win.

Destiny Jackson returned home this weekend and once again led the Yotes in scoring. Going 3-9 from the free-throw line, she matched her score total from Thursday night's game with 16 points. The redshirt junior guard had nine rebounds, bring her total to 121 on the season.
Samantha Henley put up eight points and nine rebounds in her 28 minutes played.
Nikki Mayoral and
Mia Dufresne both put up six points respectively. Mayoral shot 2-4 from the field while Dufresne had five defensive rebounds.
