Box Score SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Yotes brought their overall streak against Cal State LA to 12-12 since 2008 in Saturday's loss to the Golden Eagles.
The Yotes' largest lead of the night came in the first quarter with five points, keeping them in offensive contention.
Destiny Jackson had two points while also putting up one offensive and two defensive rebounds. Cal State LA brought their best defensively and made it tough for the Yotes to make a push at the end of the first.

Mia Dufresne surged ahead in the second quarter, her points and rebounds mirroring one another at four. The Golden Eagles were relentless on defense and held the Yotes to 12 points for the quarter. Two defensive rebounds and six points from
Mia Finnie was enough to pull the Yotes within six points going into the half.
The half began with a score of 32-24 and the Yotes knew it was go time. Dufresne and Jackson contributed four additional points respectively which helped to give the Yotes a 17-14 advantage for the third quarter. Back within five, the Yotes couldn't push past the late 10-point scoring run in the fourth by the Golden Eagles for a final score of 63-50.
Dufresne finished with 10 total rebounds (four offensive, six defensive) and 12 points. Jackson put up impressive numbers offensively with 14 points and two rebounds.
